 Regrettably, 117 deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 4, Free State 0, Gauteng 59, Kwa-Zulu Natal 13, Limpopo 4, Mpumalanga 8, North West 0, Northern Cape 12 and Western Cape 17 which brings the total to 49 784 deaths. We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased patients.
