Deaths and Recoveries 

Regrettably, a further 81 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 3, Free State 5, Gauteng 29, KwaZulu-Natal 23, Limpopo 0, Mpumalanga 6, North West 0, Northern Cape 0 and Western Cape 15 which brings the total to 48 940 deaths. 

We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased patients.

Our recoveries now stand at 1 409 553, representing a recovery rate of 93,8%.

Vaccination Rollout
