Reported Deaths and Recoveries

Regrettably, we report 195 new COVID-19 related deaths: 26 from Eastern Cape, 83 from Gauteng, 25 from the Free State,  36 from KwaZulu Natal, 12 from Limpopo and 13 from Western Cape. This brings the cumulative number of deaths to 12 618

The number of recoveries currently stands at 497 169 which translates to a recovery rate of 82%
