Deaths and Recoveries

Regrettably, we report 78 more COVID-19 related deaths: Eastern Cape 2, Free State 10, Gauteng 37, Kwa-Zulu Natal 5, Mpumalanga 9 and Western Cape 15 which brings the total to 47 899 deaths

We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased patients.

Our recoveries now stand at 1 388 321, representing a recovery rate of 93%
