Reported Deaths and Recoveries

Regrettably, we report 260 new COVID-19 related deaths: 68 from Eastern Cape, 62 in the Free State, 30 from Gauteng, 39 from KwaZulu Natal, 14 from Limpopo, 18 from Mpumalanga, 8 from Northern Cap and 21 from Western Cape. This brings the cumulative number of deaths to 11 270

The number of recoveries currently stands at 437 617  which translates to a recovery rate of 76%
