Reported COVID-19 Deaths:

Regrettably, we report 92 more COVID-19 related deaths: 17 from the Eastern Cape, 28 from Gauteng, 10 from KwaZulu Natal and 37 from the Western Cape.  This brings the total national deaths to 2 749 with a mortality rate of 1,7%.

We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased.

The recoveries to date are 76 025- this translates to a recovery rate of 47,7%.
